Ah yes, it's all a conspiracy, as usual, in your world. I think it more likely that this was simpy a non-story in the first place, and that has now become apparent.

Unbelievable! But never mind - let's see how it all develops. Were it all ultimately to get shunted into oblivion, we'd all have much to fear - but it won't, because there's far too much at stake, not only for individuals but also for governments.
