Horribly tragic for everyone. But although I think a vaguely religious person could convert to Islam, I don't see how they convert to being a militant Afghan tribesman out for revenge on soldiers. This murderer's rant about women in 'our country' (he's British of Nigerian origin) suggests he had little concept of the Taliban's treatment of women. Tragically deluded, it seems.

The Daily Express is passionately UKIP. Why else would you read it?

Beef Oven - you started this thread. Why don't you discuss it sensibly?

I think you may find thsat anyone who has worked with or for Jack Straw will be happy to vouch for him as a very decent, intelligent man who exhibits far more integrity than many politicians in these times manage. And given his experience in Government, of course, he might just perhaps know a few more of the facts about our security situation than some on here...

perhaps has he has those he works with fooled .
he certainly doesn't care about what the public think when implementing policy.

Just because somebody has been in office doesn't really mean that we should pay attention to their views , does it?
i mean, who knows, they might be in the pockets of lobbyists and interest groups.
                            Ok its unlikely......:erm:

                              That might be possible
but given the record of his government (and the rest of the political establishment) it's hard to have any faith that these "facts" (WMD anyone ?) are really true ?
Which is a very sad state of affairs indeed
BUT is NOT the same as suggesting that there aren't crazy people in the world who want to do horrific things

Can I say this is one of the more sensible posts on this thread? Totally deluded, possibly schizophrenic perhaps? I wouldn't be surprised, when it comes to trial, that mental health issues play a big part.
As to the Kippers and the vile EDL, well it's any excuse isn't it? The smashing of windows of mosques reeks of the Black Shirts and the attacks on synagogues.
