i am not very up on this subject, but there was I think a piece about it on " You and Yours " today, which may be of interest, and is presumably on i player.

You haven't seen anything yet - The MOJ have published more proposals described as Transforming Legal Aid - or as it ought to be named - destroying legal aid or a direct and deliberate attack on the rule of law .

From the report linked in the OP:

Tonight I'm just SO proud to be British. ATOS and those responsible for their appointment should IMVH(and moderate)O be SHOT at the very minimum.

44-year-old died months after sickness and housing benefits were stopped following Atos fitness-for-work assessment

It's bad enough for people in full possession of their mental faculties, but for the mentally ill (and their relatives) it must be an absolute nightmare.
