North Korea is suffering from the same problem that anyone who stands up to the United States suffers - isolation.

Bill Clinton made an interesting comment after he went there to secure the release of those two "journalists" who had been imprisoned for "spying" - in a news conference he said the North Koreans wanted an end to the United States policy of isolation of North Korea. So the nukes are a bargaining chip for America to end all the embargoes etc.
