Why on earth do think that it's appropriate dress to undo your top button ?
Shocking and shows no respect or standards

Red velvet? That's a uniform I might have been interested in.

It doesn't "frighten" me (although of course I say so not having actually witnessed it)...

Absolutely nothing, ahinton, but my rubbish is just as entitled to an airing on this forum as any of yours ...

Furthermore, whilst we are on the subject of composers and the main topic is school uniforms I believe that Franz Schmidt probably got closest to combining the two well into middle-age and beyond.

Inexplicably even he sometimes forgot his cap and tie ...

So it's "rubbish" to draw attention to Mr Grew's out of place references to Brahms, yes?

That's not Schmidt that's Angus' dad (or should it be Angus's ? I think not)

That is true, flosshilde, I am greatly blessed with a full and handsome head of hair ...

However we must always consider those rather less blessed than ourselves?

                              And the rest of it.

(although only a person of specialised tastes could find your head of hair 'handsome')

I do agree that, much like a vintage wine for experienced connoisseurs, a full and handsome head of hair may well be an acquired taste for many follicle enthusiasts, Flosshilde.

However, I completely refuse to brag unnecessarily about my very good fortune in the lottery of life.
