Any man who is caught calling any lady ... never mind one of the stature of Lady T ... a 'witch' is a misogynistic bounder of the lowest repute.

sadly, when I was at school, the Norman conquest and feudalism were portrayed as rather a good thing, all those lovely castles and defensive fortifications that you can visit even today.
Feudalism? nice and tidy, lovely straight furrows...blah blah blah....still, they earned it, right?I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I do think that certain recent prounouncements by Tories look likely to reduce the party's chances of electability and, if that does indeed turn out to be the case, I cannot quite see Labour as a beneficiary of any consequent shifts in voter loyalty, so it might well lead to yet more evenness in support for those parties who anticipate fielding candidates in most or all constituencies and this in turn would likely increase the difficulty of any two or even three parties being able to form a majority coalition.Last edited by ahinton; 19-12-14, 14:35.
