For the rest of us, sure - but not for their presumably already long-suffering families, though...

NO, in spite of what you might see or hear on the BBC most English people are NOT members of UKIP
I do wonder why you thought it necessary to explain that to Scottish students when sureely at least some of them already realised that SNP is already the third largest party in UK!

Oi! Leave Stephen Fry out of this! He has no obvious influence over the state of the parties in the run-up to the next UK General Election and I rather doubt that he'd want to have anything of the kind!

Surely that's a question to be addressed to the Scottish students concerned if it's to be addressed to anyone at all?

                    I think it's about 80% now.

Does it matter (even though it's untrue)? Just imagine - with SNP as UK's third party, it might only have to be proven to be constitutionally possible (a matter that was briefly discussed somewhere on this form not so long ago, IIRC) and then actually implemented that the party be entitled to field candidates throughout UK rather than only in Scotland and you might - admittedly at quite a stretch - end up with Mr Salmond as Prime Minister; were that to happen and Great Britain accordingly turn into Great Scotland, I wonder if he'd grant Dave and the rest the opportunity to conduct a referendum on the re-independence of England, Wales and "Northern Ireland" from the new Great Scotland?

75% or 80% whatever its a load of made up lies
                        and simply NOT true

Trouble is mr Farago puts on his "chum from the pub" smile (vomit) and tells lie after lie having realised that his "script" is to keep smiling one day people might get fed up with this bag of shite

Labour's Rachel Reeve, shadow works & pensions secretary tells us:

"We have a new policy around more border police, counting people in and out of the country".

"On benefits, [Labour wants] a waiting period of two years before you can claim benefits if you are new to the country."

But Labour foot-soldiers must swiftly move on if the conversation turns to immigration when canvassing!

It's going to be an entertaining 2015 general election!!

And now, over to our leading political correspondent Norman Smith, outside the Houses of Parliament, because they're still there, delivering his latest in an ongoiing series of anti-Labour political broadcasts on behalf of BBC impartiality while waving his hands around in strange meaningless jerky circular motions.

Kerry Smith has now stepped down. Meanwhile the candidate for Swansea West, Martyn Ford, distributed a leaflet which was as Islamophobic as any put out by Britain 1st. UKIP said the leaflet had not been authorised by HQ and despite pleas for his dismissal they've said he's been given a slap on the wrist and a 'final warning'. Yet another example of the caliber of candidates selected. It seems in their haste to field a candidate in every seat they're letting anyone throw their hat in the ring.

Anyway, on a lighter note C4 10pm tonight, Nige drinks with Steph and Dom from Googlebox! <banned emoticom>
