What a prospect! Frank could swing. Some people say that Nigel should. That's about as far as the comparison would appear to go.

GG's Frank/Nigel comparison is more accurate than you understand, ahinton.

It's wasn't so much accuracy or otherwise but possible re-interpretation that interested me!

Cameron must be pleased to be shot of DeepThink like that

                      M. Deux-tams is probably now wondering whose you mean - Frank's or Nigel's...

If so, it would be just my luck for someone else to pitch in with a reminder that "modesty is the fig leaf of mediocrity" (as variously ascribed to Frank Harris and others)!...

Mediocre or not, you should sue MrGG for that terrible accusation that you are "too pissed to sing in time". That's to say nothing of his statement about the company you keep!

Oh, I don't know; for one thing, I might be concerned that suing two gongs might be twice as expensive as suing one but, perhaps more importantly, it could have been worse - after all, he could have said "too pissed to sing in tune" or even "can't sing in time or in tune even when sober"!

Ah, well, I don't suppose that he knows much about that; I will gladly confirm, however, that the violin cases of members of such company are far more likely to contain violins and bows than firearms and bullets.
