Perhaps for those who cannot see the connection between tissue and lies...

Anyway, returning to the ostensible topic, I see that Norman Baker, having achieved nothing to speak of as a Home Office minister, has thrown a hissy fit and resigned from the cabinet pausing only to say some rude things about Theresa May (nothing like rude enough IMO, what kind of rock star does this Baker dude think he is?). He wasn't so rebellious over the tripling of student fees, or over the bedroom tax, or over taxes for millionaires being cut at the expense of ordinary working people, but then of course it's six months before a general election in which the LibDems are likely to be given the bum's rush for enabling five years of Tory class war, and I suppose he thinks his little flounce might impress his constituents. I imagine he won't be the last to try this little trick of distancing himself from his coalition partners, but it's getting a bit late in the day for anyone to be convinced...

Yes, he and Mike Read could start a new band, what could it be called? Motley Crue is taken, what about Bitter Old Bastards?

I suspect that they'll be given the bum's rush for an awful lot more than that! - but then among the political parties contending the next General Election they'll hardly be alone in being given it for something, that's for sure!

No. In fact, the sense is as clear if you take out "in the piece" altogether".
