How on earth is that a good idea ?
People have always been able to travel and work in Europe. Just because you and RB struggle work out how to take a bugle into Belgium doesn't mean that we need a friggin' European Uberstate/boys club. It means you're incompetent and don't know how to arrange a gig!

          So tell us
How will restricting the ability of folks from the UK to work in the rest of Europe help our economic (not to mention cultural) life ?

No. The point at issue here is that if some Brits remain happy to have unrestricted permission to travel to and work in other EU member states but at the same time express disapproval of certain citizens of some or all of those member states having unfettered rights to live and work in Britain as and when they feel so disposed, there's an obvious and unjustifiable imbalance of viewpoint. Also, I'm not aware that anyone has mentioned bugles here in any context, let alone that of perceived problems in trying to take any such instruments from Britain (where RB does not live in any case) into another EU member state.

Gosh, you're right, it's a miracle any of them happen at all.

'State' is about the right term for UKIP.

Yet another UKIP bampot, a self-loather this time, raises his head from the gutter.

That'll give Nigel's new Polish friend comfort, I'm sure.

It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I'm still unclear about this ?

Do the kippers have a plan for what happens when they stop people from the rest of the EU working here and find that, surprise surprise, the rest of the EU does the same to workers from the UK ?

And WHO decides who is allowed ?

And how will this affect really important things like MUSIC ?

Basically you could have left your question thus, and basically the answer is no. Not having a plan is the principal thing that makes them different from the Tories. No doubt this will become increasingly clear over the coming months.

                            Don't bet on it.

I am certainly unaware of any such plan but there's rather more to this than the pure annd simple question of whether or not they actually have one; there's the important matter of whether or not they'd be able to implement it, what opposition to any efforts to do so they might encounter both from with and without UK and the timing of such implementation - stopping people from elsewhere in EU coming to and/or working in Britain while Britain is still an EU member would be a breach of EU law whereas doing so after seceding from EU may not be and, afte all, even if there were to be a UKIP government (which there'd have to be in order to implement such a plan if indeed one exists) - which Mr F says isn't going to happen anyway (and one presumes that he ought to know!) - it would not be able to take Britain out of EU overnight.

Of course any moves to prevent freedom of movement and labout within EU will inevitably give rise to similar moves in the opposite direction, which would compound the problem, but what - plan or no plan, would UKIP propose to do about all those from other EU states already living and/or working in Britain and all those British citizens already living and/or working in other EU states? You can just imagine it - cries of protest along the lines of "all them Brits living and working abroad returning to "swamp" Britain and take the jobs away from the Poles, Latvians &c. already living and working here!" - or something...

"MUSIC"? I've no idea. For all I know, Mr F has even less idea about that subject than was displayed by Mr David Cameron whose infamous response to the question as to who composed Rule, Britannia was "er - Elgar, was it?"...

                                Answer the question

                                My view ?
Is that improvisation has always been an intrinsic part of musical practice

                                "MUSIC"? I've no idea.
I do have an idea about this
Many of the musicians I know (in many genres) travel all over the EU on a weekly basis, many of our orchestras do the same.
The margins of whether it's worth (in £ terms) doing a gig are often very small indeed, even for some of the most established ensembles.
