IMHO, Cameron could well go down as the worst Prime Minister in living memory.

He was very nearly responsible for the break-up of the UK, being totally out-thought by Alex Salmond and only rescued by the good sense and political savvy of a majority of the Scottish electorate. Not being satisfied with that, he could well lead the UK out of the EU and leave the country in complete political and economic irrelevance in the eyes of the rest of the world. The people of this country have been fed with such a diet of anti-European propaganda by both the Tories, UKIP and the media it's difficult to see them voting to stay in if any referendum is held unless there is a complete sea-change towards informed public opinion. If the worst happens Cameron will be wholly responsible for the resulting mess.

Cameron is a salesman first and last and his only concern seems to be a quick profit, this time political.

I think the only real alternative, Miliband, is even more depressing a consideration in so many other ways.

What a shower of dangerous political pygmies we are stuck with in an increasingly uncertain world!

the politicos are knaves and fools devoid of the dignity and honesty of the indigenous peoples of the rain forests

There's also this about climate change and housing - http://www.24dash.com/news/housing/2...housing-scheme which perhaps merits further discussion, and criticism of the PM.

To some extent I think that reflects on you as much as on him.

We saw with the Tories a few years ago that they preferred the person you call a salesman to David Davis, who I at least though made cogent arguments at the time. It seems to me that most people will nearly always vote for appearance over substance, or that's how I view the way most of the British electorate behave.

...and that's going it a bit after Thatcher's years of destruction!

But you could well be right. Or I should say "correct" to avoid any possible confusion!

I've never met any real pygmies so I'll simply take your word for it, Mr Da Jazbo!

                What a curious remark ...

The opinion of Mr P. G. Tipps doesn't matter a scrap to anyone in the UK.

The performance of Mr D. W. D. Cameron & Colleagues can matter hugely to everyone, whether they realise it or not.

The former may not change but the latter seems unlikely to matter so much after next May (and by "May" I do meant the month, not the appalling homosecretarualist [as our resident Grew of the Colonies might pu it)...
