A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

there might not be a european government yet. There is however a direction of travel. We have a world vastly different from 40 years ago when the vote happened. The EU is a completely different animal from the one that people voted for in the early 70's. And the European Central bank has powers (that affect both the eurozone and outside it) that need a very high level of accountability.
there is every reason to have more democratic involvement , not less. That might reasonably include a referendum.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

So I guess the people who don't understand what the word "COMMUNITY" means are the ones moaning about it now then ?
The key word methinks....
"Community" doesn't mean, I might go to your shop if you come to mine
it implies that people work together, you know COLLABORATE on things that are mutually beneficial.
Which is why those who are obsessed with competition as the way of doing things hate it so much.
After all, the WHOLE purpose of life is to "get one over" your "opponent" and be a "winner":laugh::laugh:

'I was thinking,' Alice
said very politely,
'which is the best way
out of this wood: it's
getting so dark. Would
you tell me, please?'
But the little men
only looked at each
other and grinned.
They looked so
exactly like a couple of
great schoolboys, that
Alice couldn't help
pointing her finger at
Tweedledum, and
saying 'First Boy!'
