Looking up a quote for another discussion I found the slippery kippers have changed their Education "policy"
it now has this
Raise standards by franchising state schools to private organisations, such as charitable trusts
How on earth does one "Raise standards" by giving control away to people who maybe have no idea at all about what the purpose of education is in the first place?
They also propose this
End support for multiculturalism and promote one shared British culture for all

Which I quite like as it might mean that OXOboys extensive collection of strange musics will be unacceptable and i'm first in the queue for the discarded Can collection (Not British) or even some of the Japanese electronica (NOT British)
Regarding education, I'd like to see more grammar schools to help working class kids get up the ladder and not so much reliance on boxing and football.
If it goes belly-up for me, you don't want my Eliane Radigue, Daphne Oram, Laurie Anderson or Delia Derbyshire collections?!!!

Grammar schools DON'T help people "get up the ladder" (as you put it) the people who really HAVE done the research will tell you that this is a myth.
(Daniel Craig "failed" the 11 plus Andy and I "passed" who is further up your "ladder"?) the Kippers seem to have left this one out now.
sounds a bit BNPish

Although they may not (on the surface at least) be a far-right party like the BNP, their core support certainly comes from a lot of the same sectors of society, so it's unsurprising that they should take that kind of line.
UKIP MEPs were, furthermore, instructed by the party's leadership not to support a petition of MEPs to stop a package of funding to a grouping of European far-right parties including the BNP, the FN of France and Jobbik of Hungary. Their other links to European far-right parties have been brought up previously on this thread.
So let's not get too faux-surprised when we catch a glimpse of the brown shirts in the back of their wardrobe.

Which will include some who one might term "fascist".
When I hear Vox Pop interviews with folks who plan to vote Kipper they often say things about how they will "kick out" the immigrants, "stand up" for white people and so on. I'm sure that YOU and many of your chums aren't "fascists" BUT a large number of people will vote for the kippers because they do appeal to those who also have sympathies with the EDL, BNP etc
The shenanigans in the EU institutions don't worry me
