As I was not playing any game, I have no idea.

Actually you were playing the trip scotty up game, but you didn't play it very well.

As I stated, I wasn't playing any game at all and, in any case, as I've not knowingly encountered scotty in these parts for quite some time, tripping him up would have been quite beyond me, I'm afraid - even had I wanted to...

Some of the "comments" are rather amusing
          like this one

A 500K home is rich now? Don't make me laugh. 500k barely affords a modest 2 bedroom flat on the outskirts of London Zone 2.
I also don't know why anyone would raise a family in London on a household income of less than 100k. It would be a struggle.
This is not rich. It is middle class, and many people who have worked hard for their money are in a similar financial position by Farage's age.
          Yeah, right :HA HA HA:

Obviously it isn't only politicians who are completely out of touch with the world.

I can only hope that those daft enough to have paid 25 smackers for tickets to this non-event got their money back (especially those who'd brought eggs with them)...

It's almost as though NF has recently taken to competing with Cleggula in the impossible to take seriously stakes; just imagine a coalition government between UKIP and LibDems! (although fortunately imagine is all that will be possible on that front).

But, according to some members, a vivid 'imagination' is exactly what is required to change the world, ahinton!

I didn't say "vivid", I just said "imagination", and I didn't say "exactly what's required", I was referring to it as a necessary precondition. Wenn schon, denn schon, as the Germans say.

"The M4 is not as navigable as it used to be". That must have happened in the last couple of months because in October I drove the same route as Farage, I mean his chauffeur (such as every man of the people must have), and it was exactly as I remembered it, not at all clogged up with Romanians or whoever it's supposed to have been.

Some members have put you right about that and I will simply add that having an imagination isn't the be all and end all in any case - it's what you do with it.

What - have they changed the route so that atlases aren't up gto date, or have some of the road signs been changed (a rather 'Dad's Army-ish' tactic to confuse the invaders)?

                                Oh come on!

Mr Farage clearly has a sense of humour and he was merely giving a silly answer to a silly question! (the clue is in his laughter).

Nigel Farage blames high levels of immigration and the state of the M4 for missing a meet-the-leader event ahead of UKIP's first Welsh conference.

Though his anti-EU politics are downright daft, imv, his utter refusal to pander to the suffocating straight-jacket of political-correctness is like a sudden cool blast amongst all the stale hot air!

He certainly made me chuckle with that one.<laugh>
