Winning NO councils is a great result innit !

Sad sad sad ....... news that people have been tricked into thinking that extremists are what we need.

As the theme of this says It's NO CHOICE at all
just more tired old establishment crap

I'm glad my children are too big to fit up a chimney !
Time to roll back the read tape that is stifling business and bring back child labour in factories

How long will they manage to stay "in character" ?

Actually if "the people have spoken" then, given the turnout and what people actually voted for
they voted for something else (as usual :-( )
    Extremist? Lol!!!

Inevitably it has missed Bill Tong's razor-sharp analysis that the most over-crowded and expensive part of UK - viz London - rejected Nige's blandishments and returned Labour with four new councillors in Westminster of all places.

Could this be because London has hosted immigrants and furriners for centuries and doesn't recognise his nasty propaganda?

ukip did well in the relatively expensive and crowded South east region in the EU elections.

And the BNP has always had a good deal of its success, (which is, to be fair , very limited ) in London.

Details! Details! forget all that, ts.

All that matters ts, is that the mould in which British politics has been cast in for the last 100 years, has been broken!

Different from the rest - celebrate difference and diversity!!

Can you come back next week, Beefy?

Let's not forget that Labour, the Greens, the Lib Dems, and a majority in the Conservatives are, broadly, pro Europe. UKIP united the anti Europe vote on its one major plank and got less than a third of a lowish vote.

That might be a better perspective?
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

It might. It might be right, too.

But, I personally believe that something more than that is going on.

                      Time will tell.

They just can't stop themselves can they, poor things. If they really were "exceptions" you'd think they'd have learned to keep their mouths shut, or they'd have been told by their non-exceptional fellows that this kind of talk isn't on.

As for moulds being broken, I suppose from an insular perspective that's true, although if we commit the unforgiveable sin of seeing things from a wider European perspective we see that this kind of smiley far-right demagoguery has actually been around for a while.

It's hardly "mould breaking" to elect a dodgy white ex-stockbroker in a suit...........

I've got this radical idea to "break the mould" of music, I'm going to use an augmented 4th NOT in a Diminished chord .......... How radical can one get ??
