    No.

Berlusconi was bad - he was bad in a particular way, and here is the evidence that Farage is bad is precisely the same way.

(Berlusconi was, however, not as bad as Hitler, Mussolini, or The Third Reich, which I did not mention.)

Why does Nigel and the UKIP cause many people, whose arguments are normally very well constructed, cogent and clearly communicated, to abandon their usual standards?

He doesn't / they don't; you ascribe to him / them far too much power over how people thinks and express their thoughts.

My arguments are as well constructed, cogent and clearly communicated in this matter as in any other.

Sadly, hero-worship distorts your perceptions, and has blunted your ability to understand and follow them.

This is surely because he operates in very emotive territory, where the kind of aberrations you suggest are precisely the outcome desired.

Unfortunately, when somebody like NF ( funny initials..... ) Gets involved and develops high profile, sensible discussion of important underlying issues can take a back seat, or be badly distorted by the powerful electro magnetic field of party politics, personal ambition, financial interests, ego, or whatever.

Its a pity that it takes a party like UKIP to highlight the structural issues that many people perceive in the EU and Eurozone.

What's funny about the initials NF? Why do you make such a stupid observation?

Its an observation, not a stupid one. Irrelevant perhaps.or maybe not.

Why have you picked up on the least important part of my post?

It is not irrelevant. You are making a point. A stupid point. If you make 'observations' like that, don't be surprised with the response you get.

Why dont you discuss the other points, rather than the somewhat light hearted aside about his initials, which some people might see as oddly coincidental, if, perhaps irrelevant.

The point of this part of the discussion is that Nigel Farage has been caught with his fingers in the till.

This is not a directly political issue, but it is highly relevant to any claim that he is an honest man.

No-one has yet offered an answer to this:

As usual Old Bill Tong has succeeded in turning a serious matter into a sixth-form slanging match as suits his purpose.

And he's so good at it.

Which is why he does it.

                          I guess.

Well I don't find the National Front, it's initials, applying it to people who you don't agree with, funny. And how are they 'oddly coincidental'?

I'd be happy to discuss the other points with you, if you can desist from stupid irrelevant remarks.

Has the investigation into this matter been completed and the conclusions made known, then?

Is there something that you know about this case, that the general public doesn't?

Or do you simply have contempt for due process, when it comes to people who you don't agree with?
