    Women Only??

Qatar Airways - notice anything? Their current TV ad?
Women only in it - ahem,,,,yes, esp given the country's traditions, regulations and reputation - a blatant bit of 'woman-washing' .
    Blimey ............

Perhaps an attempt to cover up for their invasive non-consensual searching of women. But discrimination is discrimination however much you like to dress it up..

Maybe they're trying to say subliminally to the gays 'Nothing for you here. Move along!'

I was quite surprised that on a stopover in Dubai en route to Melbourne (Emirates) there were no raised eyebrows about two males sharing a room in the airport hotel.
Not sure I'd feel comfortable in Qatar though!

One often sees blatant hypocrisy in TV adverts. There was a major motor manufacturer's advert which seemed to be pretending to say 'we care about the Third World' .
