And as between the Aldi and the Black Bottle?
If united don't perk up he'll need half a bottle of something very disposable, and ****** the peaty notes !!.

The two daft ha'porths commentating on BBC sound as if they've been at the bottle already, the 5 minutes I tuned in for was a positive festival of bumbling ignorance about what had gone on earlier and what was going on before their eyes...
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Seems worse than I can remember... even during the World Cup.

The ref deserves a large one though - sterling sensible performance

            yes, excellent ref, for once.
I often watch footy with the volume off, nobody needs psychobabble from ex pro footballers, really.

The world cup? remind me? no don't actually. best bit was being at a Bruckner 8 as England were crashing out.....

Right , time for a night cap......

Yes, strange about the peat, but I'm honestly not picking up on it.

So which of the others is more to your taste then? Both seem quite difficult to get hold of - there isn't an Aldi for miles around and they don't do online ordering... But I'm tempted by that one as it's terrific value and if it really is tastier than the Black Grouse...

I think I must go for Aldi's Highland Black.

I'm sipping some Black Grouse as I type, and I don't think it's as good as Highland Black.

Come on, you want me to reveal all my secrets?

Like where I found this one of John Cage after a few Philips of Cutty Sark....

Sadly, it does, though neither a glass half full or a glass half empty, to my mind...

Good for you for finding it, though!

I actually wrote that line in my post ... but then deleted it. Didn't want to cramp your style, ah....
