When Nigel gets into Westminster, I'm going to tell him to ban international (non-club) football.

Just the the European Championship, World Cup, Africa Cup Of Nations and the Copa América. Everything else must be scrapped.

What certainty do you have that Nigel will agree with you on this? Furthermore, when he gets into Westmonster, he won't be able to do any such thing in any case unles his party can form a coalition with one or two other parties and then succeed in persuading them that banning certain football matches is a greater political priority than schoolsnhopsitals, taxation and the rest. Anyway, if he were to have that kind of thing done, his first target for the chop would surely be the European Championship, wouldn't it? I mean, after all, you can't have all this European nonsense making its presence felt in Britain, can you?!...

Never mind; when Nigel gets into Westmonster (along with a handful of colleagues), why not buy him a nice bottle of single malt to congratulate him on his success? I'm sure that he would appreciate that better than a request to ban football matches!
