It's delicious poured on ice cream or applecake. I was once the victim of a practical joke when it was poured over my frites instead of mayonnaise.
    I ate them.

As I'm on the wagon until July, I bought two bottles of Whisky to look at over Xmas. Because I recently discovered that I prefer blended Whiskies, I bought a bottle of Monkey Shoulder (which comes very highly recommended from some of my friends) and a bottle of Chivas Regal. I passed over a 10 year old Talisker and a 12 year old Redbreast (previously my 'usual').

I know, but as I said, I prefer blended whiskies as of the summer just gone. I'll be back

Johnny Walkers Black and Green are excellent blended malt whiskies. Black is the world's best-selling blended malt.

Yes, I've only had Black Label and it is glorious!

It was on my list yesterday, but I went for the Monkey Shoulder, which I've never tasted and people seem to be rating quite highly.

Famous Grouse is the blended tipple round here
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Ah, yes Cali. I like that, as a lighter touch!

I like it on the rocks or with a good glug of cold sodawater, for a longer drink - which I'd never dream of doing with a single malt...

Famous Grouse?! Even the wankers on the site wouldn't drink that, that's worse than meths!

So Bailey's wasn't the nadir, then.

Had I placed the bet that was in my mind when I wrote my post, you'd have won me money there, T-Nog - I said: I bet T-Nog'll come along and pour scorn on that...

Like shooting fish in a barrel

                              Actually, I think it's fine.

You'll have to tell me where you buy your meths

Why settle for fine, when for a few shillings more, you can have divine?

FG is the stuff that puts people of whisky for life, because it's like pouring toilet cleaner down your throat. Still, if you like caramel colouring and don't value your oesophagus, you knock it back, sir.
