OK- plum puddings ahoy! Two are now plumping on the cooker.
Meanwhile infusion time for the cakes. Did I say sherry? Yes I did, and what do I discover? Brandy is suddenly the booze of choice. "But... but.." I began.

    Nothing is sacred, is it?

I do like "plum puddings plumping". And why wouldn't they? Didn't they have a good dollop of brandy in them!

Stick 'Christmas Yoda' into the search box, click on image search and....

Hmmm this household's dried fruit gets soaked in dark rum for 12 hours for the pud. Well it's a winner - rum 'n raisin!

Thanks for that tip - not so much for the fruit but for the spirit in which it was given.
