What a lovely if somewhat hallucinogenic thought that is , Floss.

Ben Shaw's is the proper stuff.

Edit: Gin is gin really, isn't it?.....all tastes great with tonic, terrible on its own.......
(probably no the right thread to express that opinion........)

          WRONG!*

I still recall with moist eyes a Martini I had in Grand Central Station, so dry as to suggest they had merely shown the bottle of Vermouth to the glass... <sigh>

*a glass of Tanqueray No.10 would explain why.

Mrs Flay (being Scottish) has acquired a taste for their gins. In particular Caorunn, and Botanist (brewed by Bruichladdich on Islay).

Their aromas are so different - floral

I was going to ask if you'd lost it in the move, but I see that you are still in France. Weren't you moving back to the UK last week?

But I did move. Didn't I?! Don't tell me all that stress and exhaustion was some displacement activity or dissociative fugue!

I write this from submerged St Albans...just haven't updated my locale on the 'settings'.

So you were here in body but not in spirit ?

(& I see that you have updated your location)

Have there been floods in St Albans? Or just an excess of gin?

The rain hasn't stopped since noon; the gin has only just started (ish)
