A sort of gastronomic slumming it, eh?

Every time I've tried this, it's left me feeling cheap and used in the morning.

They did and maybe still do Frozen Bounty , Mars Bars and my favourite, but discontinued as a far as I can tell, Ski, frozen yoghurt in chocolate. Brilliant while it lasted.

          Yes, I know that!

If only that were true! As it isn't however, I derive my serotonin from other sources instead.

No, I don't; the money that I might otherwise spend on chocolate gets spent on something else rather than wisely invested in a Cypriot bank!...

Monsieur de Thropp le Noggin du Chocolatdeluxe.....

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
            Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I was going to concoct a sort of Fin de siècle joke about the difference between a Poule de Luxe and ........
But I didn't!! On the grounds of chocolate political correctness.

I'd thought (or had at least hoped) that this is a contradiction in terms!...

Hey, nobody seems to have mentioned Revels...they were called something like "a box of chocolates in a bag"...they looked a bit like Maltesers, but had different fillings, like coconut, orange cream etc. Terribly sickly!

I used to love Topic - soft nougat and hazelnuts in a chocolate bar.

In the 70s my Dad used to eat a tablet of chocolate called Old Jamaica - it was dark chocolate with rum and raisin. He never had to worry about it disappearing, I hated the taste of rum and still do!

You can still get revels, can't you. bit of a lottery though, chance of a nasty coconut one(though they are usually a bit smaller)....or perhaps not.
