                And he's back !
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

As mentioned upthread, I seldom buy chocolate bars, but finding myself queuing in the CoOp at lunchtime .... I bought a Crunchie! The first I'd bought for years. I had forgotten it was so hard and - crunchy! Next to it was Wispa Golden. Never knowingly having eaten a Wispa I wavered and didn't pick it up. However, having thought they were extinct I find the CoOp also sells Frys Chocolate Cream but only in multi-packs. Having got over my chocoholic phase I don't think I'll read this thread anymore and it's opening up temptation ...

What is it about chocolate that I can always pass it by even though I don't have a particular aversion to it (as long as it's very dark, bitter and organic) as I do, for example, to anything that is or even remotely resembles any kind of beer? I really have no idea...

Chocolate has been proven to increase serotonins (the happy chemicals) You obviously have no need of a boost to your happiness levels! And, big plus point for a Scot, you save yourself money!

I see my attempts to educate the barbarians has fallen on deaf ears.

Like a latter-day Marie Antoinette, I say: "Let them eat Cadbury's!"

Well, generally Throppers like you I prefer to buy high-class, expensive, sophisticated but sometimes - well you just need somethig a little bit cheap and nasty to tickle the jaded palate ......
