Say what you like about Cadbury's milk chocolate, but I love it. One Christmas, I was given 3 of those 1 Kg. bars and scoffed the first one at one sitting. (Before you ask, I'm relatively slim.)

This comment has obviously sunk into my subconscious: looking through the "What's New?" list, I read The Cadbury Enthronement - the Music - taking the enthusiasm a little far, I thought!

I'll go with 1,2,and 4 of the original list but substitute Fry's Peppermint/Orange/Coffee Creams in the 3rd spot and submit Dark Chocolate Toblerone with Almonds for No.5.

We went on a School Trip to Fry's in K.E.Y.N.S.H.A.M. and got a gift box of treats, which sorted the coachload out as to the deferred gratification types although the sickly atmosphere of cocoa powder acted as a brake on immediate consumption at least as far as maybe Melksham.

Wasn't Chili one of the Chocolatier's magic ingredients in the film of the Joanne Harris book.

They're just never as good as I think they're going to be. Why did they survive when Aztecs didn't?

I'm with Fosshilde on the Dark Choccy Tunnock's caramel wafer - have to be careful not to gallop through a whole pack.

And I have eaten four of the five today*. Boy do I feel multi level bad.

Yes! Must have been around in the early '80s, I recall (my chocolate bar purchasing peak).

My childhood favourites:
Mars
Wispa
Crunchie
Caramel
Marathon (which I refused to buy after the silly name change)

Nowadays, I settle for good old Daily Milk or Galaxy.

Oh, and despite what people say, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with a Daily Milk !!

Oh yes, KB. Balance is everything. Chocolate raisins are a corner stone of that part of my diet.
A Chocolate Orange helps too.

Perhaps it should read that, but the reality is different. I do lots of exercise (and not enough music practice).

My favourite bar from the 1960s to present day is 'Crunchie'.

I had totally forgotten about 'Milk Tray Bar', thanks for the reminder whoever that was.
