Ok maybe change to contains meat from herbivores or whatever genus contains horse - I'm sure some fancy latin can be dredged up as eg used on cosmetics to hide the real ingredients.

There was a brief interview in last day or so pointing out the insidious addition of sugar to processed foods which the speaker blamed for much of the obesity in children and adults which has probably done considerably more damage to health than a bit of old dobbin in cheap meat balls - tho I noticed that Ikea also had to destroy some of its cakes as found to contain faecal material.

The fake Latin of cosmetic labelling is an EU thing. They're trying to allow labelling equally (in?)comprehensible in all (well, nearly all) Europen countries to reduce producers' costs. Food labelling hasn't gone down that route: over here it should always be in English, even if it's also in Polish, Urdu or whatever.

But, dear boarders, please don't rush to tell me that they don't know this down your local ethnic shop...

Apart from those "homeopathic" pills you can buy in a certain Nottingham based chemist which definitely DON'T contain what it says on the label

I did say food labelling! Whatever they are, homeopathic pills ain't 'food'. In labelling law anyway; I know some of you will say they're really nothing more than very small sweets.
