        Oh, sorry, it sounded as if you did. But I do agree - why eat things out of season? Although the nseason for soft fruit is getting longer & longer with farmers using polytunnels to get earlier & later crops.

          I love my polytunnel it means we can grow aubergines, peppers etc
          wonderful invention (though there are some folk who seem to object to them .......)

              Rural residents' objections to the polytunnels used by farmers all round the country could spell the end of an almost year-round supply of homegrown frui

                Thanks MrGG. presumably the objectors are very careful about the origins of fruit they buy.
