I would have thought, field mushrooms being so large and fleshy, that drying above a radiator would take forever (and necessitate having the heating on all the time?) How about slicing them thickly and drying in a very low oven for a couple of hours (leaving door open for moisture to escape) Perhaps doversoul could experiment and report back?Comment
