blimey, a turbo charged thread. Just popped out for a little walk, had a quick listen to the Ravel Piano trio, and we are 5 pages in. Is the olympics over or something?

Any railroad....a few things...Celery is fabulous cooked...sensational in soups especially.... flavour storms out from nowhere...but if you don't like the texture , that is fair do's.

As for Tarragon.....just go easy on it is all. Love it. Slow cook chicken in it...in fact I meant to buy some today but forgot...which was a bit silly.
never mind, a treat for next week instead.
Right off to finish the last of the summer pimms..sun has gone in but that really isn't going to stop us ! Cheers.

Baxters, like other Scottish products I consume, like Nairns Organic Oatcakes, are really wholesome and tasty. My weakness for Tunnocks products is to my eternal shame ...
Edit: Crikey, only just seen the above posts! Well, I think mangertons's broth sounds fine, Amsey's obviously not my type, and there is a question mark over Caliban. So, I think I'll go offline before it becomes more complicated!

Well! I met Mr Ian Nairn once, when there were still Nairns in the business, and they also made Abernethy biscuits. I've also met some of the Baxters, but I've never met a Tunnock, though I've eaten a good few of their biscuits - and snowballs.

Do I eat laverbread? Of course I do, I buy it weekly. It is delicious!

I would expect no less - but what about the laverbread oatcakes?
