Echo that. Both available at The Harp, convenient for ENO and ROH. Moderate strength Hophead is very tasty and a favourite tipple there.

        Pozdrawiam!

Make sure it's served very cold

P.S. I love London Pride, will buy a few for over Xmas

Skinner's Jingle Knocker weighing in at 5.5 is a good preChristmas tipple. gurn I see you're in Wilts - our local had Pigswill as a guest beer - an off-putting name but a pleasant beer!

Vasily Petrenko Ale by Mad Hatter

Vasily Petrenko Ale (that's VPA as well as IPA!) has been specially selected by the Chief Conductor of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. It's a traditional style pale ale with American hops, light and smooth, with a zingy citrus aroma and mellow finish. Vasily likes it - we hope you do too!

Why do I think that deal was done quite late at night... !?
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I wonder if the marketing guys at mad Hatter have other notable conductors lined up for their other beers.

Do they have somebody in mind for their Stout or Bitter perhaps?

( A case of the VP would make a nice pressie for beer drinking music lover in one's life).

if I had a quid for every hint I have dropped to Mrs TS.......

Good plan though Cloughie, you never know.

(lets hope she doesn't check out my Amazon.de account before ordering the beer........)

no, will have to try that.

presumably named after the pig encampment just over the road from Amesbury's leading tourist attraction.

There needed to be a reason - nice beer - not a marketing gem of a name!
