Tonight it's Harviestoun's Bitter and Twisted again. No jokes about bar persons please!

I'm looking around for stocks of Old Engine Oil too. I suppose if I said I wanted to put it in the car someone would have a riposte.

A favourite of mine but alas not widely available. I haven't seen it for a while.

Had a very tasty pint last night at my local: Mercia IP from the Derby Brewing Co. New to me and apparently a prize-winner.

Last Sunday I enjoyed a pint of Red Kite at Wetherspoons in Berkhamsted, brewed by Vale Brewery Co

Website says: "Type Bitter / Pale Ale
          ABV 4.0%
A chestnut red beer. Maris otter crystal, chocolate and roasted barley provide a full body whilst Northdown, Fuggle, Willamette and Brewers Gold hops combine to offer a strong bitter finish."

and I concur with that remark about the strong bitter finish - just the job

Having a few bottles of the celebrated Turkish lager 'Efes'.

Refreshing with a lovely crisp, slightly bitter bite. AVB 5%

            Şerefe!!!

Amazing how you can go off some people, isn't it...

              Enjoy, Mr Beef!

After orchestra last night(the first one of the term), I had a pint of duchy Original Golden Ale. Very refreshing!

Agreed, though I find some of the Badger ales better.

It is a glorious day here so I walked north for half an hour to the remains of the ditch of the Antonine Wall, strolled along it for a while and then back home to a well-earned pint of Fursty Ferret. Very refreshing.

Moorehouse's Pendle Witches Brew 5.1% ABV. (Brewers since 1865).

Crisp, sweet and sour. Glorious aroma, too.

Having a few of these (well, three!).

3 for £5 in Morrisons. Pretty good in this day and age. Christ knows how much they'd charge in a saloon.

                            630 mle, ABV 5%.

Must be 'Time for a Tiger', with acknowledgement to Anthony Burgess. Nabby Adams, step forward! As a man who's life is ruled by beer, you can tell us a thing or two about a cold bottle ...
