Lovely, Bbm When I used to make beer with a couple of friends, we used Butcombe 'Original Bitter' hops thanks to a connection with the brewery. Takes me back... years since I've tried it.

          How did it go down?
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
          Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Went down a treat Cali! MrsBBM chose it, as she knew that the water from Somerset is very good!

That brings back memories - I worked in Lewes for some years, and the John Harvey Tavern was the preferred venue for birthdays, leaving dos, lunchtimes - any occasion really. Good food as well. I've just checked the map - Cuckfield isn't so far from Lewes. Train from Hayward's Heath. What's holding you back?

For my post-concert pint this lunchtime at The Metropolitan Bar (Wetherspoons) at Baker Street I chose Hoptimus Prime brewed by Robinson's of Cheshire, a seasonal, very hoppy, very citrussy seasonal ale, dry on the finish and at 4.1% just right for a lunchtime refresher

Had a pint of Betty Stoggs from Skinners brewery and Spitfire from Shepherd Neame Brewery, in a very convivial afternoon at my jamming partner's and his wife's place. And a jam too(on keyboards)
