Blessed are the cheesemakers indeed (especially whoever it was among them that made so fabulous an organic unpasteurised Dorset Blue Vinney that I saw in Bath a few years ago that prompted a Frenchman behind me to buy the rest of the entire rondel from which I'd taken but a tiny morsel) but, care as I don't what political party Prince Philip is not allowed to support, I just want to be as far as possible from any beer of any kind wheresoever made - one of the world's most monstrous yuks, to me, along with goat's cheese, vegemite and papaya (the thought of all four of which in close proximity would probably be enough to see me off permanently)...

Just got a couple of bottles of this, and have lined up some of the great man's work with which to enjoy. Cheers.

And cheers to you, too, ts!

Double Diamond! Eee, that's a blast from the past: the first beer I ever tasted - I was about 9 years old, it was Christmas and I was allowed a sip of my father's favourite tipple! (He was very fond of McEwan's Export, too!) Tasted to me of water and the tin it came in.

I think that, from the way it was put, it was rather a generic singular - bit like Yorkshire Pudding: in the singular, however many you get to sink your teeth into

The Black sheep has been consumed.
                              The Beethoven listened to.
                              Excellent stuff all round.
