Spotted in Asda a few days ago. Will try it this evening! £2 for 500ml. I'm a London Pride lover, don't usually drink continental beers or lagers so trying this as it comes recommended.

Skinner's Jingle Knocker weighing in at 5.5 is a good preChristmas tipple. gurn I see you're in Wilts - our local had Pigswill as a guest beer - an off-putting name but a pleasant beer!

Vasily Petrenko Ale by Mad Hatter

Vasily Petrenko Ale (that's VPA as well as IPA!) has been specially selected by the Chief Conductor of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. It's a traditional style pale ale with American hops, light and smooth, with a zingy citrus aroma and mellow finish. Vasily likes it - we hope you do too!

Why do I think that deal was done quite late at night... !?

I wonder if the marketing guys at mad Hatter have other notable conductors lined up for their other beers.

Do they have somebody in mind for their Stout or Bitter perhaps?
