      Well - first time I took splits, jam and cream down the mine for croust I got lammed by Capn Tresedder for a-doin of it wrong and now I do forget every time which comes first and can't ask mum cause she's gone to the Great Pasty Shop in the sky....

          Some establishments are rising to the challenge (and creating an opportunity out of a threat)
          From its humble beginnings as a motorway service station snack, the scotch egg has suddenly found itself as the mainstay of pub cuisine.
