Oh yes, they were great. And possibly even a healthy option .

      Edit......

      BUT WAIT............................

      ( Rubbish re-branding though.......)

I thought at first that that was a multi-pack for a week (like the little packets you got at now-banished breakfast buffets), so inordinately expensive, but then realised that each pack is 375g.

Gosh! With all this talk of what might have disappeared off the shelves, I've been out hunting, and put on half a stone in weight in the past week - just when I should be shedding!!!

              1) Honey nut bran flakes. These were great - sugary for sure, but with that healthy bran.

              2) Cheesy loaf of bread. This was really nice - from Sainsbury's back in the day, I recall. Must have been about 20 years ago, I recall, since I had ham sandwiches with this bread, so was before I went veggie.

              3) A kind of Cadbury's variety of chocolate biscuit which was more stiff than your usual biscuit - and tastier, for that matter. Very tasty indeed, wish I could remember what it was called, exactly. Last remember having these 10 years' ago.
Do you mean Cadbury’s snack biscuits?

One of my favourites, and definitely still available

No. These ones just had chocolate on one side. They were circular too.

I looked for them the other day, but without luck.

I remember some one-sided chocolate biscuits with the chocolate being in ripples, rather like corduroy; I wonder if they are what you are thinking of.

If they were also very moreish, and made by Cadbury's, then they might be the ones I had in mind.

One-sided chocolate biscuits wouldn't last long in a debate on this forum!

They don't last long in my house, either!

Somewhat off topic, I understand that the PM is looking forward to the prospective trade deal with Australia increasing the availability in the UK of Tim Tams.

I have to admit to preferring them to Penguins when I first came across them while visiting Melbourne last Christmas/New Year.

I think they might have been discontinued. Cadbury’s used to make chocolate digestives, and chocolate rich tea biscuits (the latter were great), but both are no more. I believe there is a petition calling for the return of the rich tea biscuits!

                              Don't think so.
The 'ripples' were more like ridges (furrows).
My partner thinks they might have been chocolate malted milk biscuits, and rectangular not round, so maybe my memory is at fault.

Whatever they were, I used to like them.

                                Choccy one-sides they are.
