Looks like it could be a good year for plums here. Never seen as much blossom and the warm spell has continued long enough to allow the fruit to set. Should be alright as long as we don’t get a sudden frost. Wouldn’t normally bother but I invested in a couple of pheromone traps to keep the sawfly larvae out of the setting fruit this year. Already picking up an impressive number of moths.

Sorting out the strawberry patch was heavy work in current conditions. I lost a few strawberry plants, too. Most likely cause was last years’ drought.
