Yes, agreed, it sounds disgusting...but oh boy, it's wonderful! We acquired a bottle in the Caribbean last year. We drank it in the Caribbean too. Sadly it seems unavailable in the UK. I think it is made in Portugal, maybe Spain. So if anyone discovers a UK source, (a) try some and (b) let me know.

Yes, that's one I have tasted. Cheap and nasty, £15 a bottle - originates from Spain's Canary Islands. It's the flavoured vodka that British chavettes drink themselves into a stupor with in Torremolinos!!! a young nephew of mine pitched up with a bottle of Caramel rum at Xmas.
in his defence , I must say that he was given a case of it by his boss, and he generously gave it away to those he visited over the festive season.
