For the uninitiated, that's the social media phenomenon of folk posting pics of themselves on various social websites. Infantile, isn't it?!

Oh well. If they can't be beaten, may as well join them.

So, here's a picture of me and an old elephant at Dublin Zoo in 1998. To avoid any confusion, I'm the one that looks like Benny Hill.

Just after this shot was taken I turned to the elephant and asked what did he have for lunch:

Elephant: "Half an hour. Same as all the others."


And in other news ... a little point of trivia: the famous MGM lion was born in Dublin Zoo, and not a lot of people know that.
