Or in the Sunlight sign on the brick house in the middle photo? - lovely photos. How old would those little boys have been in 1914?

The photographer [?] has helpfully written "Waddon Hill" on the first image, so you can orientate it.

One branch of my family tree hails from 7 miles down the road. My 9x great grandfather John Hadaway (1617-1697) was born in Symondsbury, and sailed to America on a pilgrim ship in 1634.
