I shouldn't worry on this occasion, mercs; there aren't many photos on the Forum of Ronald Stevenson (nor, for that matter, of Alan Bush, even if that photo is smaller).

Not sure who the geezer in the specs is, though: is it Caliban?

I'm not asking for back row, from the left: 1 or 2; front row, from the left: 1 or 2, but the furthest right of both rows are just 'gettable'.

Top row right is Edgar Bainton,no idea who the others are without googling.

Ronald Stevenson's massive Passacaglia on DSCH, op. 70 (1962), the initials of Dimitri Shostakovich, who's also the dedicatée of the work. Live, unedited per...

The other one I highlighted was William Gillies Whittaker (front row, right) Professor of Music at Durham, long-serving Principal of the Scottish Academy of Music & Drama and Bach authority. Woefully under-respresented in recordings:

                  For the record,the others are:

Back row: (from L) Alfred Wall; H. Yeaman Dodds
Front row: (from L) William Ellis; George Dodds

better versions are available, but I think one can see who they are
