All the more moving as the "Lipnits" in her surname clearly indicates her Jewish ancestry, and with that music, in that country...

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Mr John Williams's main theme from 'Schindler's List' - on its own terms, one of his very best (though repetitively overused in the film such that I ran from the cinema so as not to hear it another 30 times over the closing titles...

Her costume was also a conscious echo of the girl in the red coat sequence in the film.
"I do not approve of anything that tampers with natural ignorance. Ignorance is like a delicate exotic fruit; touch it and the bloom is gone. The whole theory of modern education is radically unsound. Fortunately in England, at any rate, education produces no effect whatsoever. If it did, it would prove a serious danger to the upper classes, and probably lead to acts of violence in Grosvenor Square."

As others elsewhere have pointed out, her family name may give a clue to her ancestry, but the cross she carries below her neck suggests sympathy with another persecuted Jew. Whatever, a remarkable performance and politico-choreographic statement.
