Concerto in memoria di Claudio Abbado. Daniel Barenboim dirige la Filarmonica della Scala che esegue la Marcia funebre (Adagio assai) dalla terza Sinfonia "E...
It's identical to the RAI link above given by Radio64 except that there is no audio until 3.40 in. Presumably the RAI link will disappear in time.
A truly moving and emotional performance and the best tribute Abbado could have had.

Many thanks for posting the links. Crikey indeed. Clearly Abbado was deeply loved and respected. Dare I wonder if such a tribute could ever happen to a musical figure in Britain?
Interesting point Tevot. He was fairly well known and respected in Italy, although not on the same level as, say, Pavarotti.
He had appeared quite a few times on a kind of limited audience TV culture-talk-show but I doubt that many would have actually been to one of his concerts. I think people here were generally surprised at how well known he was 'abroad'.
There was a nice homage to Abbado on Italy telly tonight opening up this evening's Sanremo Song Festival. The orchestra del teatro de la Fenice, Venice played the overture to Le nozze di Figaro.
Conductor Diego Matheuz had some kind words to say about Abbado.
I'll put up a link to video if I find one on the morrow.
Many thanks for this. I was at that Prom and remember it well. One for the Petrushka Archives, I think.
A rummage through the Petrushka Archives has revealed that not only was I at that Prom but Abbado signed my programme after that very concert when I slipped backstage. It was the first of two occasions when I met him.
