        .

... are you trying to rival Louis XVI, who wrote in his Diary - Rien (“Nothing”) - on 14 July 1789?

Christmas interns have started early at Radio 3 online....

(...or maybe it's just the usual eedjits )
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
          Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I hope you didn't get fined or receive a yellow card for not turning up to see the doctor, the optician, or the dentist!
At least I now get sent text reminders from the dentist and from Specsavers; the doctor probably thinks I've either died or got better on my own! That's perhaps unfair: I did get a text reminder about my flu jab. The trouble was that everyone else did too, so we all had to form a great long queue outside the surgery in the cold!

Great long queues outside the local surgery are the norm hereabouts!

                            Anacrucis.

One of the words, the meaning of which I can never remember, no matter how often I look them up or have them explained to me.

                            Fractals is another.

I went out with her a couple of times in the '70s. It came to an end, but with mutual affection.

                              All rather upbeat, in fact.
