I knew we should have gone to Jersey.

      (I know I know... )
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

... what is it with British soldiering and comfy winterwear?

          Wellingtons, balaclavas, cardigans, raglan sleeves...

            Sangwiches

The study of linguistics has been evolving over the years. Read about how Elaine Ostrach Chaika’s contributed to it all.

Clocks go back on October 26th, or the 25th if you do it the night before.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
