Well I think the cynicism of Davey's "Go green, vote blue" electoral sound bite was fully exposed this year with his "Get rid of all the green crap" comment. Even the most slick operators can keep the mask up for only so long.

imho His Hissiness Paul Dacre should be considered because of his hissing fit testimony at Leveson ... but actually the most humble day man R Murdoch is hard to beat there ...
According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.

That excerpt from "Pravda" at the NT 50th Anniversary whetted my appetite for a revival. As long as we recall that Lambert le Roux is in no way at all intended to be a reference to R. Murdoch, goodness no, perish the thought. It would be interesting to see into just what the U.K press has sleepwalked. (pardon the syntax).

No names, no pack drill, but one of the above surely deserves a different vowel in the four-letter word in the title of this thread?

If your suggestion is correct, I would nominate Ian Duncan Smith in both categories.

Mr Eric Pickles has come with a late run (on the far right of picture as you might expect): http://www.theguardian.com/local-gov...cal-government

Leader of Newcastle council on lunchtime news saying further cuts to local government budgets would probably mean the destruction of l.g. Pickles shown on the right as the govt minister addressed parliament this am. Checking my family photographs yesterday I was extremely disturbed to find one of Pickles in my late parents' house - my dad had been leader of that council at one point. Yes, Tory, you've guessed it!

Can I nominate a collective, as in the Queen's loyal opposition, which doesn't do anything but shouting without having a viable idea of themselves, too many of them millionaires who nevertheless cannot withstand the temptation to fiddle anyway and to tolerate nepotism?

Oh I had him filed with Boris under 'Pompous Ass'

I really ought to dig out that proposal I had for categorising certain people as 'unbreedable'

                                Eugenics anyone?
