The sound, on Safari on the ipad, worked fine. I've already done the chamber music - it and the opera were the only questions where I managed to answer every one (though I'm not saying I got them all right...). But the 3 orchestral genres were, for me, much harder: quite a few which were annoyingly familiar but still unidentifiable, plus several absolutely-not-a-clue ones. Looking forward to seeing the right answers!

Thank you to everyone who answered my Pointless quiz questions - the event went swimmingly! I've now posted the answers on the website - just visit the same address as before: www.ormsquiz.info
There still seem to be issues with the audio playing, particularly in Internet Explorer, but I have posted a workaround on each question page - a link to my Wordpress site, which uses a different audio system that may work.

Interesting that more people can identify MacCunn's Land of the Mountain and the Flood than Dvorak's Carnival...Our chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency....

Couple of nasty concertos near the end!
Bloody good quiz, still"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
