The sound, on Safari on the ipad, worked fine. I've already done the chamber music - it and the opera were the only questions where I managed to answer every one (though I'm not saying I got them all right...). But the 3 orchestral genres were, for me, much harder: quite a few which were annoyingly familiar but still unidentifiable, plus several absolutely-not-a-clue ones. Looking forward to seeing the right answers!

I did pretty well on the picture quiz but, like others, had no sound for the others.

Made lots of typos in the timed questions and constantly had to go back and correct wasting valuable time. Great idea though.

Thank you to everyone who answered my Pointless quiz questions - the event went swimmingly! I've now posted the answers on the website - just visit the same address as before: www.ormsquiz.info

There still seem to be issues with the audio playing, particularly in Internet Explorer, but I have posted a workaround on each question page - a link to my Wordpress site, which uses a different audio system that may work.

Fiendish stuff, David! I can't believe I couldn't identify Verdi's String Quartet (for shame!). Redeemed myself in the Opera round, thank goodness.

Interesting that more people can identify MacCunn's Land of the Mountain and the Flood than Dvorak's Carnival...

Though chastened and humbled by my performance, it was a great quiz David, please feel free to repeat next year.
