Surely being cast as the Villian is terribly unfair to Beef Oven surely it can only be Roger Wrong with SMP as his handmaiden or whatever......

Well of course this has to be Prof Says, if MI6 can spare him

As Ams has already been cast as " You shall go to the Ball! " Can I put in a bid for the role of Dandini? I'm awfully good at slapping my thighs in fishnet tights.

It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Young Service will be disappointed to be missed out again - I understand he's already approached Salmond's Independent Enterprises for the possibility of a substantial part north of the border next year..

Mea culpa - as may be seen, I was running out of parts. How about:

                      Guardian Music Critic?

surely our Wodger would agree to play the role of wicked witch - especially if offered enouugh mince pies coated with real gold foil - he's quite used to being boo'd off the stage.

Whenever I see a respected actor in a panto I'm always tempted to shout "it's beneath you".
