Thinking of you with much affection at this time, saly, and the promised Colin Davis DVD should be waiting for your return to Sidcup s.a.p.!

I hope they're as good to you as they were to me last Christmas, saly - card, present, roast turkey dinner, christmas pudding. And no family squabbles
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Well, as you point out, it's not all fun in hospitals.

              Dear salymap.
Happy Christmas. It sounds as if Christmas in hospital isn’t as bad as one might imagine but don’t settle down there!! We need you here.

Best wishes and get well very soon.

                Happy Christmas, sals!

I hope the nice young doctors are helping to make a Christmas in hospital have its compensations.

Love and Best Wishes for a Happy and Healthy 2014.

Perhaps salymap was listening to Essential Classics today when Sandi Toksvig praised Ethyl Smyth to the very rooftops and requested the Mass in D. She even told the toothbrush story......
