Dear salymap
I assume you are still in hospital. Does it look as if you will be there over Christmas? If that’s the case, I expect french frank may be able to give you a few tips as to what to look for and what to avoid. If I remember her post correctly, it didn’t sound all that bad.
I hope you are well looked after and comfortable.
Best wishes
ds
P.S. Any Christmas CDs / works to send to salymap?

Greetings, saly! Further to my earlier message, 98, (26 Nov), the two Colin Davis PROMS from 2005/7 are now on DVD and ready to wend their way to Sidcup. Hopefully, you'll soon return to home comforts or perhaps a relative can deliver the light package to your regal presence. I've really missed our tete-a tete musings.

A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Watcher salymap! Pabs is back on-line, much to everyone's joy & relief, there are some extraordinary photos taken during and after the typhoon, puts our speels of high wind into perspective. I hope they're treating you well and that the food is at least bearable. Your elf says you're making progress which is great to hear and there'll be much rejoicing when you're back amongst us.

Message from Pabs, copied from a different thread:
"I have only just learnt about Salymap. I'm not sure where to post anything, so - in the hope that you evenually see this, Salymap - all our very best wishes from the Philippines. "It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
